(ads). The time has finally come again: the 16th edition of the “Beginners” training fair will open its doors again on 24 and 25 June at the Rottweiler Stadt- und Stallhalle. On the two days of the exhibition, 92 well-known exhibitors from industry, services, trade and crafts present themselves and present a wide range of information about the world of work.
Explore the professional world
Exploring and discovering the world of careers directly, whether at internship fairs or internships, has only been possible to a limited extent in the past two years due to the pandemic. That is why the economic development of the city of Rottweil as the organizer of the fair and exhibitors are happy that the 16th edition of the “junior” can open its doors again at the Rottweiler Stadthalle. It is supported by proven cooperation with the companies Rottweiler and hugger_gestaltung and by the construction of student fairs.
Visitors have ample opportunities to learn about companies in the area, discover apprenticeships, learn about the world of work and talk to interns and training managers. All this is presented by the training exhibition “The Beginner”, which is organized for the 16th time this year. Over the years, it has developed into one of the most important platforms for young professionals, parents and interested parties, but also for businesses and organizations in the region.
92 exhibitors from industry, services, trade and crafts introduce themselves, provide information and invite you for dialogue. “This means we are making as many of our recordings as we can. This is so much fun, especially since the last ‘start’ was only last fall. ‘Beginners’ is firmly established in the area as a forum for training and career choices, and it supports our children in planning for the future and our economy in Working with young people,” explains Mayor Ralph Bruce. The trade fair is now being promoted and supported by twelve distinguished partners. In this way, small businesses also have the opportunity to present themselves at the trade fair. The trade fair “junior” is important to the distinguished partners.
Crafts have a large space
Trade fair organizer Bettina Weigel, of the city’s Department of Economic Development, praised the deals “which demonstrate a very high level of commitment.” Handicrafts are presented at the Craftsmen’s Forum of the Rottweil Society of Artisans in the stable hall. A total of six guilds on board: carpenters, painters, plasterers, carpenters, masons, and representatives of the electrical trade. They not only have information ready for visitors, but also offer all kinds of stops where students can try something for themselves.
Information for parents too
On the second day of the fair there will be a motivation event for parents presented by the employment agency, because fathers are the most important companions for their children on the way to choosing a profession. IHK Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg will once again sponsor the trade fair with the tried and tested method.
“Starter-Navi” provides guidance
The diversity of companies is great, so the organizers of the Municipal Training Fair have developed auxiliary means of orientation with which schoolchildren, parents and their young people can prepare in advance for beginners, the so-called “Starter Nav”.
With the help of a questionnaire, students can find out their inclinations and interests. About 90 exciting employers with more than 170 professions can be interviewed in “junior”. The floor plan, list of job descriptions, and list of exhibitors provide an overview of the suites that can be found at the venue. If you have a “starter-navi” with you, you know where to go. The “starter-navi” also provides information about the “gos and no-gos” of visiting the trade fair, so that visitors are well prepared in this regard.
For anyone wishing to prepare for a trade fair visit in advance, a tentative navigation system will be available from Wednesday. It can be obtained from the city’s tourist information. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday 9:30 am to 3 pm, Sunday and public holidays 10 am to 3 pm.
The initial navigation can also be found under [email protected] to be ordered.
