Career path of Simona Oesch, responsible for training at the Nursing Directorate

Simona Oesch completed an apprenticeship as a commercial employee at the Meiringen private clinic, after which she worked for several companies.

She then decided to study to become a qualified nurse practitioner at the Bern Education Center in Bern. “I was able to do my last training in the private clinic in Meiringen,” Simona Oesch recalls with pleasure, because this was the beginning of her career and later realization.

She then worked as a qualified nurse and career coach in the protected admission ward and as co-chief of psychiatric services in Aargau. Since January 1, 2019, Simona Oesch has been responsible for training at the Nursing Directorate at the Meiringen Private Clinic.

Career of Manuel Weiss, EFZ Health Specialist in Training

After a regular study and language course in Australia, Manuel Weiss completed his training as an EFZ Restaurant Specialist at Unterägeri ZG. Having successfully completed his studies, he continued to work in this profession for some time. “But I didn’t find the achievement,” he says later.

Manuel Weiss decided on a professional reorientation and completed an apprenticeship as a supervisor at an institution for physically disabled people in Lucerne. He gained professional experience in this challenging field over a number of years. His life then led him to the Bernese Oberland, where he held a position in the private clinic in Meiringen. That’s where the idea for his second course came in: “After an exciting and educational year of working in the clinic’s geriatric psychiatry department, I decided to do a second course to become an EFZ health professional,” says Manuel Weiss.

The career of Yasmine and Flea, a nursing student at HF

After school, Yasmine and Flea completed the four-year course to become an EFZ Pharmacist. She started a family early on and thus worked part-time in a variety of professions. At the age of about forty, she decided to study to become a nursing specialist. “We have a very nice and informal working atmosphere,” says Yasmine and Flea of ​​the working environment at the private Meiringen clinic.
